Most AI discussions focus on memory.

But memory only answers:

"What happened?"

It does not answer:

Why was this decision made?

What changed?

What still matters?

What should continue?

Those are continuity questions.

As AI becomes part of longer projects,

continuity may become more important than memory itself.

Because remembering information

is different from maintaining direction.
